Who has a snowball fight in the middle of a beautiful Spring afternoon? We do! With marshmallows!

The Residents had a blast. They sent someone to retrieve Vaughnita, their C.N.A., because they wanted to “tell” her something and then snowballed her when she arrived!

On April 16th we celebrated Signature HealthCARE’s Spring Fling Day. We enjoyed food, fellowship and friendly competition with Mt. Pleasant Rehab.

The competitive tournament pitted the Signature Slingers against the Mt. Pleasant Rehab Flexers in a “Roast the Pig” contest. The quickest team to “Roast the Pig” won a trophy.

And that would be us! The final score was 40.5 – 50.56.

Congratulations to our very own Mule Town Bowling Team for placing first in our region and second place overall in the Signature Bowling Competition.

On Good Friday, Signature HealthCARE hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for the children of the staff and residents.

School was out on Friday, and several kids came to work with their parents to spend the day at Signature HealthCARE. Our stakeholders’ children visited with the residents and brought smiles to our resident’s faces.

Please help us cheer on our very own Signature HealthCARE of Columbia’s Mule Town Bowling Team! They are in the championship round of the Signature HealthCARE facilities challenge.

Our Residents participated in a balloon release in memory of their loved ones.

Mrs. Lillian Pederson, Ms. Mary Stack, Mr. George Timmons and Mrs. Betty Beard are among those of whom we remember.

On Tuesday, March 31, we hosted community wide Bingo with popcorn, snow cones and tons of prizes!

The residents at Signature HealthCARE of Columbia enjoyed birthday cake and ice cream, provided Phil and Fe Stack, to honor the residents celebrating birthdays this month at their Bingo game.

Happy Birthday!

Signature HealthCARE of Columbia is very proud to have Mrs. Mable Baxter as a volunteer at our facility. She comes in weekly and visits one-on-one with our residents, and gives them fantastic manicures.

We love you, Mrs. Mable!
